Join our family on our journey to connect with people across the country one pie at a time.  We have a family mission to travel to all 50 states and giveaway 50 pies (in the form of pizza or pie) in each state, for a total of 2,500 pizzas/pies.  We want to create community connection through culinary kindness to show our kids that anyone and everyone can connect through food.  The world we live in today seems to be growing more and more divided; we want to find a way to bridge the gaps and create connections.  What better way to connect than through two cherished American foods - pizza and pie.

Family Members:

Scott - Team Pizza.  He has a wood fired pizza oven, and it was a perfect match from the beginning.  He can crank out pizzas in an afternoon like nobody's business, all the while with a smile, a slice of pizza in one hand and the pizza paddle in the other. He's the brains behind all things technological and marketing related to our family operation.

 

Wendy -  Team Pie.  Pie has always been a favorite food of hers.  Cherished family pie recipes have been passed down from her grandma. Wendy was even insistent on having pie instead of cake at their wedding.  She won't turn down a challenge to bake any pie requested of her, but her specialties involve rhubarb or pumpkin, depending on the season.  She's the planner, organizer, and energy of the family operation.  Oh and she has a bottomless stomach which is perfect for taste testing all the pizza and pie that we crank out.

Parker - He's an energetic 5-year-old that hardly has time to indulge in things such as pizza and pie because he's always off on the next adventure that his little body is demanding him to take.  He's a chatter box and will quickly teach you all about pizza ovens, pirate ships or dumping the wastewater from RVs. His favorite pizza is pepperoni and his favorite pie is...pepperoni pizza (definitely a member of Team Pizza at this point). He keeps us on our toes and loves to taste test anything we toss his way while he runs by.

Caroline - She's a sassy and lovable little 3-year-old.  She will eat anything we put in front of her any time of the day.  She has shown an affinity for cheese pizza and any pie that has been offered to her.  It's hard to say if she is team pizza or pie at this point, but she'll gladly taste test whatever we're making.
